It has taken a while but I have finally managed to complete the task of updating the large collection of data visualisation tools and resources. You can view the full collection by visiting the resources page on the menu above.
In total there are now 273 identifiable tools, applications and services that play a role in the design of data visualisation. What a fragmented but option-rich field we work in.
I cannot say I have used or even played with every single one. Nor would I say that every one is particularly useful to me. I’m sure there will be some who might question the merit of certain items included. However, there WILL be people out there who might find value in them so I have taken the decision to avoid basing the decision to include a tool on my own perspective and judgment of its quality.
It is one thing adding to the collection, it is another task entirely trying to keep them relevant and up-to-date in terms of those that no longer exist. So please let me know if there are any broken links or if any tools have ceased.
