How to register and methods of payment
Book a single place on a training course and make a payment using PayPal
To pay for a single delegate fee by PayPal, click on the ‘Buy Now’ button in the table above and progress to the PayPal web payment system to complete the transaction. You will receive an automated email confirmation of your payment and then, a short while later, a separate email from Andy Kirk to acknowledge your place on the training course.
Book a single place on a training course and make a payment by credit card
To pay for a single delegate fee by Credit Card, click on the ‘Buy Now’ button in the table above and progress to the Barclaycard ePDQ web payment system to complete the transaction. You will receive an emailed receipt from Andy Kirk confirming your payment and acknowledging your reserved place on the training course. If you do not receive any confirmation email or receipt within 24 hours, please email Andy Kirk. Please note that regrettably neither American Express nor Solo cards are currently accepted.
Book multiple places on a training course OR to make a payment through other methods
If you wish to pay for multiple delegate bookings, please email Andy Kirk to arrange an appropriate time to make a payment over the phone. Note that a 10% discount is applied to bookings of 5 or more delegates.
Alternative payment methods, such as bank transfers or cheque payments, for individual or group bookings are also accepted and invoices are available on request. To progress your booking through these alternative methods email Andy Kirk to secure your reservation and make arrangements for your payment.
Is VAT included in the delegate rate?
No, there are no VAT charges applied to these registration fees. All rates are presented in GBP as they will be charged through the payment mechanisms in this currency.
Can I get a refund if I am unable to attend?
In the event of a delegate needing to cancel their booking, if written notification is received more than 7 days before the date of the course a full refund will be offered. If a cancellation notice is received within 1 week of the course, 50% of the fee will be refunded. Should you wish to transfer your course booking to another delegate, that is fine, but please inform Andy Kirk if this situation arises. The best advice is to make sure you can definitely attend the training before booking.
What happens if the event is cancelled?
In the extremely rare event that a training course has to be canceled due to unforeseen circumstances you will be offered an alternative date or your registration fee back in full. However, liability will be limited to a refund of fees paid and Visualising Data Ltd is not responsible for other costs incurred, such as non-refundable travel or accommodation costs.
Further information
Class size
The maximum class size is 20 to facilitate a supportive learning environment with plenty of one-on-one instruction as well as energetic dialogue and group discussion between all attendees.
Times
This training session will commence at 9:30 and finish around 16:00 with registration commencing from 9:00 and extra time allocated at the end of the session for any one-to-one discussions.
Refreshments
Drinks/refreshments will be available on arrival in the morning and early in the afternoon session. Lunch is not provided but all venues will be organised to be in popular locations close to sandwich shops, cafes and restaurant facilities.
Laptops
You are invited, but not required, to bring a wireless-enabled laptop with you and to be prepared to share your workspace with others. It is not a necessity but it will be useful to have a number of devices amongst the group during the day’s activities.
