San Francisco training workshop update

This is a short note to clarify arrangements for the two-day data visualisation workshop I have scheduled in San Francisco on Thursday 19th and Friday 20th January 2017, to be held at the Bently Reserve (pictured above). I’m posting this here to offer a permanent reference point for people interested in or attending the event.

It has come to my attention that the second day of training lands on the same day as the President’s Inauguration. Though not a public holiday in California (it is but only in a few States), it is inevitably a day that commands attention across the nation regardless of political persuasion.

The new President is sworn in at 12 noon EST which will be 9:00am PST. In order to accommodate the potential desire of attendees to watch coverage of (the key elements of) this event, I am going to push back the start date of this second day of training from the planned 9:00am to 10:00am.

To confirm, day one will commence (as planned) from 9:30 to 17:00, day two will now commence from 10:00 through to 16:30. We will make up this lost time across the schedule over the two days and I will provide an updated, planned agenda in the coming weeks and pin this to the event’s Eventbrite page.

** A reminder that the earlybird discounted registration rates expire at the end of 19th November and the USD/GBP rate is still hovering near record high which benefits US buyers **
